"Make it viral" says every client, ever
I remember when it was the buzzword of the industry for a while when a chicken does what you want. Then babies roller-skated, a guy answers your questions on Youtube and an underaged boy started singing about love while a Korean rocks the horse dance.
"Make it viral," commands the almighty.
There are tonnes of articles out there dissecting the science of it behind the seemingly random occurrences. Formulas, they call it.
For example, TubeRank's formula goes something like this:

A huge commonality among these 'recipes' is emotional advertising. It seems that it needs to make people FEEL something so that they SHARE it. Is that true? Or is it about engaging selective communities first?
Probably a healthy combination of both.
